Bytech: What We Believe

 

Belief in Family

The Bytech story begins 20+ years ago. From a humble basement operation, running the age-old door-to-door sales services, we have grown into a trend-setting leader in the Tech Accessory industry. Born as a family-based company, Bytech uses that strength and structure to guide our corporate family business ethics and operational decisions

 

Belief in America

From our inception, we chose to operate in Brooklyn, New York, in the heart of the iconic Coney Island region. Hand in hand with our business philosophies Coney Island represents Legacy | History | Foundation | Community | Family | Culture. A true Americana story.  

After a volatile beginning during the 1600’s, that involved early settlers and merchants in the “New World” (and of course the real threat of pirates!), the more familiar Coney Island that we see today started to take form in the early 1800’s. Over the next 200 years, Coney Island has evolved and grown to be the tourist attraction we see today.

All kinds of people, from many backgrounds, travel from vast distances to experience “Coney Island”– be it a Nathan’s hot dog, a vintage Brooklyn bagel with cream cheese and lox, a deli sandwich, a stroll on the shore barefooted, an evening enjoying the brilliant, blazing fireworks, or surviving the classic wooden Cyclone at Coney Island. There are so many reasons to visit Coney Island year after year.

We have flourished in our home- a home rich with Americana history and tradition. In turn, we have bolstered the surrounding economy by creating employment opportunities for the local inhabitants. As one of the department heads said in a recent interview, “Part of who we are is where are”. 

The authenticity of the Coney Island area has permeated into our business DNA, and has become an inspirational beacon to our company.

 

Belief in Art

We proudly tag our company logo with the phrase “The Art of Technology”. Bytech has always believed that art and style are part and parcel of technology and even shine through as its primary strength. A complete in-house design team is responsible for the inception of our styles, colors and packaging art. The well-experienced art staff encompass over 50+ years of combined graphic design experience. The synergy between the R&D, product development team, art team and sales team bring out the best in a product’s utility and aesthetics.

The teams strategically focus on a very large consumer demographic. It is for that reason that our product lineup expands deeply, through various sizes, colors, functions and brands. 

Belief in the Environment

Because Bytech cares about our world, we comply with many international environmental guidelines. Our products are individually labeled with certificates that apply, such as ROHS | CE | Recycled Material | and others. We strive to make our work flow one that has the least harm on our environment.  

Belief in Brands

Bytech understands that in addition to quality products and great pricing, consumers appreciate brands that they recognize. Consumers have learned to trust a familiar name above all else. Moreover, certain brands attract their own unique demographic, expanding our consumer base. For example, the stark, clean designs of Case Logic tends to gain more traction with its specific target market, while the bright, colorful designs of Pink Chandelier’s artists resonate with a younger female demographic. It is for this reason that Bytech currently licenses a variety of brands, and will continue to bring the greatest names to our industry.
